End: 07/05/2008 - 8:00pm

*Celebrate the 5th of July with Game Rebellion
(in conjunction with BAM about Brooklyn)

This six-member Rock/Rap band with their spare beats and excursions into heavy metal, will once again challenge the status quo between rock & roll and rap. Catering by Dante’s Fried Chicken Show

*5th of July: Enslaved Africans were emancipated in New York State on July 4 1827, because of threats of violence, African Americans in New York City celebrated this important holiday outdoors on July 5th instead. Come commemorate this forgotten time of Independence at Weeksville in conjunction with BAM about Brooklyn.
