Joseph Haynes

The search for historic Weeksville began in 1968 in a Pratt Neighborhood College workshop on Brooklyn workshops led by historian James Hurley and whose participants included Dolores McCullough, who later became a founding member of the Weeksville Society. After the workshop ended, Hurley and pilot Joseph Haynes (pictured) consulted old maps and flew over Weeksville.
