Sip, Tour and Connect: K-12 Educator Open House

Wed, Nov 18, 2026 @ 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Weeksville Heritage Center invites K-12 teachers and school administrators to a relaxed evening of wine, light bites, and conversation.

Teaching Black history well takes more than a textbook. It takes connection to the places, people, and resources that make that history real for students.

On Tuesday, November 18, Weeksville Heritage Center is hosting an open house evening for K-12 teachers and school administrators.

The evening includes a brief presentation on Weeksville’s K-12 educational offerings, a tour of the Hunterfly Road Houses, and time to connect with Weeksville’s education team and fellow educators about bringing this history into your classroom.

This is a space for educators to share, explore, and leave with something useful.

Free and open to K-12 educators and school administrators. Space is limited. Registration required.
