Become a Weeksville Sustainer

Weeksville Sustainers is composed of hundreds of donors who give graciously to WHC in support of our mission to use education, arts and a social justice lens to preserve, document and inspire engagement with the history of Weeksville.

There are numerous ways to support WHC and join this generous group – including setting up a monthly donation, a one-time gift, or a legacy gift. No matter which route you take, your tax-deductible gift will support the preservation of an important cultural treasure and help to share the story of historic Weeksville with present and future generations.

If you are interested in setting up a legacy gift as a part of your estate planning, or if you’d like to discuss major gift opportunities (between $5,000-$25,000+), please contact info@weeksvillesociety.org.

Weeksville Heritage Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

“Weeksville Heritage Center is a unique and very valuable cultural and educational institution—not only for Brooklyn, but for the nation. It is full of important information and photos that fill in the gaps about our history, and the Hunterfly Road Houses are authentic pieces of African American experience. The diverse arts programming means there’s something for everyone. I have been contributing monthly for more than 10 years. My regular, consistent donations help to sustain and hopefully ensure Weeksville’s continued existence. I am proud to be a sustaining supporter of Weeksville.”
