Space Rentals at Weeksville

Imagine holding your next event at one of Brooklyn’s most beautiful historic sites.  The Weeksville Heritage Center (WHC) is one of NY’s best kept secrets. Located in Crown Heights, WHC is the site a free African American community established in 1838.  On the grounds are the historic Hunterfly Road Houses.  Directly across the meadow is the Education Building opened in 2014, a stunning, modern space with views of the houses and the lush landscape.

Theater / Performance / Reception

Our largest space is a 1,900 square foot flexible space with intricate detailing and wood floors. Host meetings, seminars, film screenings, and even weddings. A wall of windows bring in a natural light and overlook the great lawn. We are fully equipped with sound and lighting systems for film, television, photography, special events, and more.

Atrium & Café

The glass enclosed atrium envelopes the space with natural light and warmth. This space is great for a variety of events, as it is accessible to our pantry and café. With the open air feel, this space is a multi-functional art space catered to creatives and business minds alike!

Our two workshops are equipped with SMART Boards and projectors and are used for educational classes, group meetings, and seminars. Adapted to meet your specific needs, seating options are very flexible. We also have a range of the latest audio-visual equipment available.
