MLK Day of Service: Youth Justice Expo

Join us in celebrating the legacy of Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement in a day dedicated to service and empowerment by and for young minds with Weeksville Heritage Center and the Legacy Network this Sunday, January 14th, at 12pm!

Led by youth leaders from Beginning with Children, Girls for Gender Equity, and more, the youth justice expo promises engaging conversations, community-driven activities, and impactful initiatives.

Activities will include:

• Community Research Fellowship Freedom Games
• Community activation by Girls for Gender Equity
• Group collage/art activity lead by Intelligent Mischief
• Parent Resource Table
• Reading Corner for young children
• Video confessionals
• Voter Registration lead by Brooklyn NAACP
• Raffles
• Donation table
