Recap: The 2024 Spring Benefit

We are thrilled to announce that we raised over $160,000 to continue to preserve, celebrate and imagine the future of Weeksville Heritage Center at our annual benefit on May 9, 2024. We were also proud to highlight the tremendous work of Dr. Jocelynne Rainey, President & CEO of Brooklyn Org, and community partner, National Grid.

The evening was filled with joy, laughter, and a profound sense of community. From captivating performances by Kaisokah Moko Jumbies and DJ DonWill and an innovative art exhibit featuring 11 Brooklyn-based artists to engaging conversations, every moment was a testament to the spirit of this historic site. As we reflect on the highlights of the evening, we are reminded of the power of coming together to preserve and uplift our heritage. Your commitment to Weeksville and its legacy is truly inspiring, and we are immensely grateful for your continued dedication. Together, we’re imagining a bolder and brighter future for Weeksville!
