Join us as we commemorate Women’s History Month with a special screening of “Shirley” by John Ridley.
The newly released biopic chronicles Shirley Chisholm’s groundbreaking pursuit of the 1972 Democratic presidential nomination following her historic election as the first Black woman in Congress.
Highlighted by brilliant performances by Regina King, Lance Reddick, Terrence Howard, “Shirley” promises to be both enlightening and enriching. Admission is complimentary, and all are welcome to attend.
