Our Weeksville Watch Nights series begins with a special Black History Month screening of Conversations: The Black Radical Tradition on Saturday, February 17th at 12pm. Join us for an insightful journey featuring firsthand accounts from legendary figures of resistance, exploring the facets of the Black Radical Tradition, including Pan-Africanism, Marxism, and faith-based approaches.

But that’s not all! After the screening, stick around as we welcome Director Edwian “Eze” Stokes, Yaa Asantewaa Nzingha and Dequi Kioni Sadiki for a captivating discussion and a short Q&A session. We’ll also be joined by The Word is Change, a local bookstore showcasing a specially curated selection of books connected to Black radical thought.
